The Milwaukee Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) are running this campaign to replace We Energies so that we can lower our electricity rates, improve the reliability of our grid, fight for greener energy, and cut the profit motive from our utility bills.

I stand with the DSA and their allies in the call for public ownership of public utilities and join them in their demand that the City of Milwaukee use Chapter 197 of the Wisconsin State Statutes to replace We Energies with a municipal utility.

Please do everything you can to get rid of We Energies and implement a municipal utility run by the city of Milwaukee! I don’t want We Energies here anymore, they’re one of the worst corporations in town.
